Julie Fjetland
As a passionate artist, my love for painting blossomed over the years, culminating in a significant turning point in December 2014 when I attended the Bob Ross Landscape Certification Training in New Smyrna Beach, Florida, while residing in Lake City, MN. This experience led to my certification as a Certified Ross Instructor (CRI), prompting me to begin teaching classes and embark on an incredible artistic journey. Since then, I have expanded my expertise, achieving certifications in Bob Ross's “Wet-on-Wet” landscape, floral (CRFI), and wildlife (CRWI) painting techniques. In the spring of 2022, I furthered my education by pursuing certifications in the Donna Dewberry One Stroke painting techniques, completing my initial certification last summer and recently finishing Certification II. Currently residing in Minnesota, I travel to several states, including Alabama, Florida, Iowa, and Wisconsin, to conduct classes. Notably, I conducted a Bob Ross painting cruise to Cozumel, Mexico, in February 2020, and a four-day workshop in Guntersville, Alabama, in the summer of 2022. In my classes, I guide students through the process of preparing their canvases, demonstrating painting techniques step-by-step, and providing support as they complete their artwork.
