STMA Youth Football Camp
The STMA Youth Football Camp is open to all students who will be entering 3rd-6th grade in the 2026/2027 school year. Coach Essler and varsity players will teach basic offensive and defensive football concepts and fundamentals. Players will be divided into groups based on grade. Football equipment will not be needed or issued. Football cleats are recommended, but basketball/tennis shoes will work. Participants will receive an STMA themed youth football.
Register using the grade your student will be entering in the 2026/2027 school year (3rd-6th grade).
Jared Essler
Head Football Coach
Coach Essler is a social studies teacher and head football coach at STMA High School. He has coached football for 20 years, including 15 as head coach at STMA. A former free safety and track sprinter at North Dakota State University, he led STMA to the 2015 Class 5A State Championship. STMA Football's guiding motto is “Win the Day.”
