In this class, we trade microscopes for spatulas as we engineer delicious, three-dimensional models of the most important structures on Earth: THE CELL. We'll dive deep into the differences between the creatures of the animal kingdom and the wonders of the plant world. By the end of the session, you won't just know what cells look like; you'll know exactly how it's built and what makes it "tick."

Char Bzdok is a licensed science teacher with 30+ years of experience helping children learn and expand their horizons. Specializing in Biology, Chemistry and Food Science, Char uses her experience to educate both adults and youth in creating and decorating many confections. Over the last 4 years, Char has been able to provide experiences through community education programs and has created unique programming in 31 school districts in Minnesota. Combining her passion of baking/cooking with her love and knowledge for science has been her key to success when working and inspiring kids! When Char is not working with her kids she loves to travel, hike, bake and spend time with her grandson.
