Open for Registration: February 23rd @ 12:00pm – March 17th @ 4:00pm

Who Can Join?

Students in grades 8-12 during the 2025-2026 school year who are interested in competitive high school fishing tournaments.

About the Team:

The STMA Fishing Team combines classroom education with hands-on fishing techniques. Coached by experienced tournament anglers and industry professionals, students will learn best practices and skills for competitive fishing. Anglers will gain in-depth knowledge of bass fishing and participate in competitive tournaments. Team members must commit to both classroom sessions and tournament participation.

Team Format:

• Two student anglers per team
• One adult boat captain (students must find their own partner, captain, and boat)

Kickoff Meeting:
Monday, February 23
6:30 PM - 7:30 PM
STMA High School Media Center

Spring Classroom Meetings:
Tuesdays, March 17 - June 2
4:00 - 5:30 PM
STMA High School, Room 2267

Summer Tournaments:
Various Sundays from May through August
