Driver's Education - Parent/Student Optional Meeting

Pre-registration is required. Walk-in's are not allowed.

• Parent/Student Meetings are completely optional to attend.
• Students (14½ or older) together with a parent or guardian attend the meeting together.
• Should you choose to attend, we recommend attending the meeting around the time your student is eligible to enroll in an STMA Driver Education class or have already completed the STMA Driver Education course.
• If attended, your student will log 40 supervised driving hours rather than 50 hours if the meeting is not attended.

Note: Enrolling in the Parent/Student Meeting does not enroll your student in a Driver Education class. The Driver Education class requires separate enrollment.

(No refunds after the deadline.)

Important Notes:

• A Certificate of Completion will be prepared after attendance sheets are verified. This certificate will be held at the STMA Community Education Office.
• You will not pick up the certificate until your student has completed their Behind-the-Wheel hours (if enrolled through STMA Driver Education). Otherwise, you will be notified to pick it up after the meeting.
