Boulder Pointe - 3 Day Horse Camp

Experience a mini-week long camp! Campers will get to experience everyday life at a barn! Life in the barn will include activities such as; daily riding, learning how to braid manes and tails with ribbon, groom and care for the horses (including bathing) and feed them at the end of the day. This is a great time for campers to spend time outdoors and build lasting friendships with fellow horse lovers in a structured and positive environment. Campers are broken into smaller groups of similar riding experience, which is perfect for both the new and more experienced riders. Please note that riding takes about 1 hour per day in an arena, no trails and consist of learning to how to steer, stop, turn, and walk/trot on their own. Campers will spend time on the ground with horses throughout the rest of the day.

Camps are held rain or shine, as there is an indoor barn and arena. Parent drop-off is at 9am and parent pickup is 3pm. Sorry, Boulder Pointe does not allow parents to stay for the day.

Please bring the following:

Long pants, closed toe shoes, appropriate clothes for weather inside and outside of barn.
No flip flops.
Sunscreen/hat/bug spray
Water bottle/drinks/snacks and a lunch
Treats for the horses if you want
Helmets are provided.

Boulder Pointe Equestrian and Event Center

The Boulder Pointe Equestrian and Event Center, LLC's mission is to deliver educational, positive, safe and fun horseback riding services, which result in a feeling of satisfaction and enjoyment wherever you are at in your riding journey. BP actively works with 10+ districts to offer camps year round. We have been running our camp program for over 10 years. We aim to instill all campers who come through our facility with self-confidence by providing an educational opportunity that is a safe and positive experience for all.

Our staff all have CPR, AED, and first aid training. In addition our team of counselors have been working with horses for multiple years prior to joining our team. We train all staff on our property and they undergo multiple shadowing and teaching shifts prior to becoming an independent counselor. Lead counselors have background checks as needed. Safety is our first priority at all times during camp and it is emphasized within our instructors.
