Boulder Pointe - Week-Long Horse Camp

Campers will get to experience everyday life at a barn! Life in the barn will include activities such as; daily riding, learning how to braid manes and tails with ribbon, groom and care for the horses (including bathing) and care for them at the end of the day. This is a great time for campers to spend time outdoors and build lasting friendships with fellow horse lovers in a structured and positive environment. Campers are broken into smaller groups of similar riding experience, which is perfect for both the new and more experienced riders. At the end of the week, parents and family are invited to a performance to see what their camper has been learning! Please note that riding takes up about 1 hour per day in an arena, no trails and consist of learning to how to steer, stop, turn, and walk/trot on their own. Campers will spend time on the ground with horses throughout the rest of the day.

Camps are held rain or shine, as there is an indoor barn and arena. Drop-off is at 9am and pickup is 3pm each day Monday through Friday. Sorry we do not allow parents to stay for the day. However there is a “show” for the parents Fridays of weeklong camps at 1:30pm! This is a great time to take pictures, watch your child ride and meet their horse they worked during the week.

Please bring the following:

• Long pants, closed toe shoes, appropriate clothes for weather inside and outside of barn.
• No flip flops.
• Sunscreen/hat/bug spray
• Water bottle/drinks/snacks and a lunch
• Treats for the horses if you want
• Helmets are provided.
