Dash Sports: USTA Red Ball Tennis CampTennisDASH Sports USTA Red Ball Tennis camps provide participants with introductory experience to the game in a fun and positive atmosphere. This camp is a fun social experience designed to cover basics of tennis fundamentals. With modified equipment and lower compression red balls, this camp will supercharge the success of your players. Emphasis is on technique and game play. Key elements of the serve, forehand groundstroke, backhand groundstroke, forehand volley, backhand volley, and the overhead smash will be taught and practiced. Camp ends with games on the final day. Participants should wear sunscreen and athletic clothing/shoes and bring a tennis racket (optional if you have one), water bottle, and a snack. Dash Sports: Ultimate Games CampMulti-SportDASH Sports Summer Ultimate Games camp provides participants with a fun experience learning and playing your favorite physical education games! Games will include: Capture the Flag, Kickball, Dodgeball, Tag games, Ultimate Frisbee/Football, Soccer, Sharks and Minnows, and more! Participants will learn teamwork, and values such as respect, hustle, and pride, all in a fun environment. Campers should bring a snack, water bottle, and wear sunscreen. Dash Sports: Volleyball CampsVolleyballDASH Sports Summer Volleyball camps provide players with a well-rounded experience in a fun environment. Key volleyball skills such as passing, serving, and hitting will be taught and practiced throughout the week. Fun, volleyball skill specific games are also incorporated, giving players game type experience, and a better understanding of the game! Driver's Education - Parent/Student Optional MeetingDriver EducationPre-registration is required. Walk-in's are not allowed. Parent/Student Meetings are completely optional to attend. Students (14½ or older) together with a parent or guardian attend the meeting together. Should you choose to attend, we recommend attending the meeting around the time your student is eligible to enroll in an STMA Driver Education class or have already completed the STMA Driver Education course. If attended, your student will log 40 supervised driving hours rather than 50 hours if the meeting is not attended. Note: Enrolling in the Parent/Student Meeting does not enroll your student in a Driver Education class. The Driver Education class requires separate enrollment. Deadline to Register: TBD(No refunds after the deadline.) Important Notes: A Certificate of Completion will be prepared after attendance sheets are verified. This certificate will be held at the STMA Community Education Office. You will not pick up the certificate until your student has completed their Behind-the-Wheel hours (if enrolled through STMA Driver Education).
